Director of the Administrative Office
Basic Requirements
- Education: An advanced degree (Master's or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible professional experience in public or corporate administration.
- Leadership: At least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably within an international organization.
- Expertise: A proven track record in strategic planning, process coordination, and the implementation of best administrative practices.
- Age Limit: Initial appointment to this position is open to candidates up to the age of 56.
Languages
- Required: Knowledge of English, as well as the host country’s languages (Kazakh and Russian).
- Advantage: Knowledge of Arabic and/or French will give you a distinct advantage in the selection process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a leader who will not just maintain processes, but actively improve them:
- Direct and manage the full spectrum of day-to-day administrative and HR operations of the Secretariat, ensuring strict compliance with organizational policies.
- Integrate best international management practices into the administrative framework to continuously enhance overall institutional efficiency.
- Lead and develop administrative staff, overseeing performance evaluations, training initiatives, and professional development programs.
- Develop, optimize, and implement streamlined procedures, while strictly monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to boost productivity.
- Ensure the efficient management of all office facilities, corporate assets, and resources.
- Coordinate strategic interactions between departments to guarantee seamless, responsive support across the entire organization.
- Monitor all expenditures and proactively drive cost-effectiveness across administrative functions.
SOFT SKILLS
