On June 26, 2022 Islamic Organisation for Food Security football team participated in the football tournament held in the country’s largest 30,000-seat Astana Arena stadium in Nur-Sultan. The competition organised by the Ministry of foreign affairs of the hosting country was devoted to the 30 years anniversary of foreign policy and diplomatic service of Kazakhstan.
This international sport competition involved a number of participants from The Presidential Administration, Prime Minister's Office, United Nations Office in Kazakhstan, diplomatic missions accredited to Kazakhstan and united into 12 teams.
The IOFS team demonstrated a scintillating performance at Astana Arena stadium to beat their counterparts and won 2 place against other teams. The IOFS team's brave display and great team spirit has proven that it is strong everywhere, including in football.
