The Head of IOFS Secretariat started his day with the meeting of the CEO of the Hassad Food Company, H.E. Mohamed Badr Hashem Al-Sada at the company’s headquarters. The parties discussed potential areas of collaboration and stressed the importance of global efforts to build a sustainable food security system.
H.E. Yerlan Baidaulet and the delegations also had a good meeting with the CEO of Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (IPA Qatar), H.E. Sheikh Ali Alwaleed Al-Thani, where they discussed cooperation between IFPA and the IPA Qatar.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to start a joint working team, sign a Memorandum of Understanding, and adopt a Joint Action Plan.
H.E. Yerlan Baidaulet and delegations ended their heavy day's schedule with a fruitful meeting with the Executive Director of Global Dryland Alliance (GDA), H.E. Bader Al Dafa, with whom they agreed to start the procedures of signing a Memorandum of Understanding and Joint Action Plan.
At the end of the working day, the delegation was invited to a business lunch hosted by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
