Tunisian Delegation Strengthens Economic Ties with Kazakhstan through Historic Partnership

On the second day of their program, a distinguished Tunisian delegation, hosted by the Islamic Organization for Food Security, led by HE Mr.Abdel Monem Belati, the Ministry of Agriculture, Hydraulic Resources and Fisheries of the Tunisian Republic, along with Mr. Samir Majoul, President of the Tunisian Union of Trade, Industry and Handicrafts (UTICA), embarked on a landmark visit to the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Atameken). This visit was aimed at forging a dynamic partnership between Tunisia and Kazakhstan, with the goal of enhancing collaboration in the agriculture and food sectors.

The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Yerbol Yesseneyev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Atameken, who provided valuable insights into the Chamber's economic and legal status and its diverse range of activities. This meeting laid the foundation for a robust dialogue between the two nations.

HE Mr. Abdel Monem Belati expressed Tunisia's sincere intent to strengthen economic relations with Kazakhstan and shared the delegation's expectations for a fruitful partnership. He emphasized the significance of cooperation in the agricultural and food industries, which hold great potential for both countries.

Mr. Samir Majoul, President of UTICA, elaborated on the rich history and promising future of the Tunisian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, particularly in the context of the agricultural and food sectors. He highlighted the possibilities that lie ahead in terms of mutual growth and development.

The highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Tunisian delegation and Atameken, marking the official commencement of bilateral cooperation. The MoU signifies the commitment of both parties to collaborate closely, fostering economic growth, innovation, and knowledge exchange in the agriculture and food sectors.

HE Prof. Yerlan Baidaulet, Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), who accompanied the Tunisian delegation, expressed his optimism about the future of this partnership and the positive impact it will have on both nations. He commended the collaborative spirit demonstrated by both sides.
