Tunisian specialists are set to impart their knowledge of olive tree cultivation to Kazakh farmers, as revealed in a recent agreement between the agricultural ministers of both countries, as reported by Khabar 24. This collaboration is expected to pave the way for olive farms to emerge as a promising sector within Kazakhstan's agricultural industry, offering fresh avenues for business expansion and tourism development. The growing partnership between the two nations is evident, with Kazakhstan achieving a milestone this year by exporting over 70 thousand tons of wheat to Tunisia for the first time. In return, Tunisia primarily imports dates and fruits into Kazakhstan.

Prof. Yerlan Baidaulet, the Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security, commented on this development, stating, "Representatives from our Chamber of Entrepreneurs have signed a memorandum with their Tunisian counterparts. We anticipate that business relations will flourish as a result. Tunisia is eager to supply Kazakhstan with ample quantities of olive oil, dates, and fish, while we, in turn, are prepared to bolster our wheat exports to Tunisia."
