H.E. Ambassador Berik Aryn, Director General of the Islamic Organisation for Food Security (IOFS), participated virtually in the 38th General Assembly of the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD), held on 9 July 2026.
The General Assembly brought together representatives of Arab Member States and observer organisations to review ACSAD's activities, discuss administrative and financial matters, and consider its work programme for the upcoming period.
The participation of the IOFS Director General reflects the Organisation's commitment to strengthening cooperation with ACSAD and supporting regional efforts to advance sustainable agriculture and food security in the Arab region.
