IOFS Financial Committee Completes Comprehensive Review in Astana

Astana, Kazakhstan – The Financial Control Committee of the Islamic Organisation for Food Security (IOFS) wrapped up a six-day series of meetings in Astana, concluding a comprehensive review of the organisation’s financial health and operational efficiency.

The committee, comprising esteemed representatives from the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Tajikistan, convened June 1-6 to evaluate IOFS financial activities and strategic initiatives. Over the course of the sessions, all IOFS departments presented detailed reports providing an overview of the organisation’s operations and financial position.

A central element of the review was the presentation of the organisation’s financial report by Mr. Safwan Alsaaideh, IOFS Chief Financial Officer. The committee examined the report to assess transparency and alignment with the organisation’s financial objectives.

The committee also conducted a thorough review of the financial office’s procedures, reaffirming IOFS's commitment to financial integrity and accountability.
