Astana, 28 August 2025 – The Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), H.E. Ambassador Berik Aryn, paid an official visit to the Headquarters of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in Astana.
During the meeting with the CICA Secretary General, H.E. Ambassador Kairat Sarybay, the IOFS Director General conveyed his warm congratulations on the inauguration of CICA’s new headquarters. He commended the establishment as a symbol of CICA’s growing role in fostering dialogue, trust, and cooperation across Asia.
The two diplomats exchanged views on strengthening collaboration between IOFS and CICA, emphasizing the importance of joint initiatives that contribute to regional food security, sustainable development, and enhanced resilience to global challenges. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to exploring avenues for closer institutional partnership in line with their shared values and mandates.
