IOFS Director General Receives Courtesy Call from Counsellor of the Embassy of Kuwait in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Astana, Kazakhstan - 12 February 2026 — H.E. Ambassador Berik Aryn, Director General of the Islamic Organisation for Food Security (IOFS), received a courtesy call from Mr. Meshari Alsaegh, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the IOFS Headquarters in Astana.

During the meeting, the parties discussed avenues for strengthening cooperation between IOFS and the State of Kuwait, particularly in areas related to food security, sustainable agriculture, and regional development initiatives.

The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to enhancing practical cooperation and exploring joint initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable agricultural development and strengthening food security across IOFS Member States.
