Istanbul, Türkiye – 23 June 2025 – On the sidelines of his working visit to the Republic of Türkiye, the Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), H.E. Ambassador Berik Aryn, paid a courtesy visit to the Turkic Investment Fund, where he was received by its President, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on potential areas of collaboration and explore concrete avenues for partnership.
During the discussions, both sides expressed mutual interest in exploring cooperation in the potential areas of shared interest of joint Member States. Emphasis was placed on leveraging investment opportunities to support sustainable agricultural development, food systems resilience, and enhanced food security across the Islamic world.
The Director General underscored the IOFS’s commitment to building strategic partnerships with key financial institutions across member states of joint priority, highlighting the vital role of coordinated investment in addressing global food security challenges. The parties agreed to continue dialogue and explore concrete mechanisms for future cooperation.
