IOFS Director General Holds Bilateral Meetings with OIC Member States on the Sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026

Antalya, Republic of Türkiye – April 2026 – On the margins of the second day of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026, H.E. Ambassador Berik Aryn, Director General of the Islamic Organisation for Food Security, held a series of bilateral meetings with high-level representatives of OIC Member States, aimed at advancing dialogue and strengthening cooperation in the field of food security.

The Director General engaged in discussions with H.E. Dr. Shaya Mohsin Zindani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Republic of Yemen; H.E. Mr. Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan; H.E. Mr. Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan; H.E. Mr. Zheenbek Kulubaev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic; H.E. Mr. Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan; and H.E. Mr. Musa Kulaklıkaya, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye.


The meetings provided an opportunity to exchange views on strengthening cooperation in priority areas such as sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, water resource management, and the development of resilient food systems. Discussions further emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among Member States to address evolving global challenges, including climate change, resource constraints, and food insecurity, while advancing practical and results-oriented collaboration.
