The Director General of the IOFS, H.E. Ambassador Berik Aryn, delivered a guest lecture to students of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University in Astana on global and regional food security.
The lecture covered the fundamentals of food security, its key challenges in the OIC Member States and Central Asia, and the role of Kazakhstan in strengthening regional food resilience. Director General also presented the mandate, strategic priorities, and flagship programmes of the IOFS, highlighting the Organisation’s cooperation with Kazakhstan and its ongoing initiatives to support sustainable agriculture and food security across the OIC region.
The lecture concluded with an interactive Q&A session with students.
