IFPS and IOFS Discuss Prospects for Cooperation

Astana, Kazakhstan | 8 July, 2026 – A delegation of the Islamic Organisation for Food Security paid a visit to the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan (IFPS) to explore avenues for cooperation.

The delegation, comprising H.E. Ambassador Azamat Berdibay, Chef de Cabinet of the Director General, Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Khan, Advisor to the Director General, and Ms. Yeldana Anvarova, Public Relations Officer, was welcomed by Mr. Manarbek Kabazyev, Deputy Chairman of the IFPS Board.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged information on the main areas of activity of both organisations. Special attention was paid to the development of expert interaction, the exchange of analytical materials, and the expansion of research cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing partnership relations, maintaining regular working contacts, and implementing joint information and analytical initiatives.

The meeting was held in a constructive and friendly atmosphere, confirming the parties' commitment to strengthening expert dialogue on food security and sustainable development.
