In India, a major food producer, one-quarter of the world’s undernourished reside, highlighting the urgent need for global action against hunger and poverty. The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals emphasize the critical role of sustainable food systems in achieving zero hunger by 2030. Addressing factors like population growth, urbanization, and climate change is essential to transform current food systems into sustainable models that can meet future generations' needs without compromising the environment. Achieving this requires concerted efforts to invest in sustainable agricultural practices, reduce food waste, and foster equitable policies that ensure food security for everyone.
