President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt held a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and other high-ranking officials to discuss ongoing efforts regarding Egypt's key agricultural projects. The focus was on providing necessary utilities and services for initiatives across various regions of the country. Projects addressed included 'Egypt’s Future' in the New Delta, agricultural ventures in Fayoum, Minya, and Beni Suef, the Sanabel Sonno project in Aswan, and the Dakhla project in southern Egypt.
Presidential Spokesperson Ahmed Fahmy highlighted the President's emphasis on the continuation and strengthening of successful project efforts. These endeavors align with the government's objectives of expanding agricultural areas, ensuring food security amid global instability, and boosting national income growth. The government aims to offer high-quality agricultural products in local markets at affordable prices while also increasing exports.
The meeting also saw the participation of other officials, including Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy; Hani Sewilam, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation; Amir Syed Ahmed, Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning; Ahmed Al-Azazy, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority, and Bahaa Ghanam, CEO of Egypt’s Future Agency for Sustainable Development.
