Catalyzing Food Security and Protein Supply: Key Agreements Forged at Afghanistan Agro Business & Investment Forum

On 14 September 2023, during the Afghanistan Agro Business & Investment Forum, organized by IOFS and held at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan, the Corporate Membership Agreement was signed between International Islamic Food Processing Association (IFPA) and Biohumus Tehnoloji A.S. (Turkey). This agreement aims to establish strategic ties between the two organizations, not only to enhance and develop food security in South and Central Asian regions but also to promote advanced technological achievements in organic fertilizer production by the Turkish company across all OIC member states. The signing ceremony featured Mr. Mehmet Akin, the distinguished Chairman and CEO of Biohumus Tehnoloji A.S.

Furthermore, on the same date and occasion, an Honorary Membership Agreement was inked between IFPA and the All Pakistan Meat Exporters and Processors Association, based in Lahore, Punjab Province of Pakistan. This agreement signifies a partnership in the vital area of Meat Business, crucial for the entire Islamic Geography. Its purpose is not only to develop profit-oriented projects but also to ensure the supply of protein-rich and healthy food to the Muslim population. The signing ceremony witnessed the presence of HE Prof. Yerlan Alimzhanuly Baidaulet , Director General of IOFS and Founder of International IFPA, alongside Mr. Nasib Ahmed Saifi, Chairman of the All Pakistan Meat Exporters and Processors Association.
