Atyab International Services and IOFS Forge Deeper Ties During Headquarters Visit

Astana, Kazakhstan - Atyab International Services (AIS), the leading conformity assessment body from the Sultanate of Oman, reinforced its longstanding partnership with the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) during a visit to the Headquarters on 6 June 2024. This visit, led by General Manager of AIS Mr. Mohib Ahmed Khan, marks another milestone in the collaborative efforts between AIS and IOFS since the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in June 2022.

The IOFS delegation included Director of Programs and Projects Department Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Director of Multilateral Cooperation Department Mr. Israil Tilegen and Program Manager Dr.Shahlo Atabaeva.

AIS and IOFS have been actively engaged in advancing the cause of safe and healthy food through various initiatives under the Healthy and Safe Food Program of IOFS. AIS has played a pivotal role in ensuring food safety, quality standards, and environmental sustainability, among other critical areas, by offering expertise in testing, inspection, and certification across multiple industries.

During the visit, representatives from AIS and IOFS deliberated on strengthening their cooperation and outlined plans for the upcoming year. The discussions revolved around enhancing existing programs and exploring new avenues for collaboration. AIS and IOFS remain committed to driving positive change in the food industry and making a lasting impact on global food security.
