These measures signify a shift towards sustainable water management practices.
Furthermore, Minister Nurzhigitov announced the inclusion of new water-related specialties in the prestigious Bolashak international scholarship program. This initiative aims to provide Kazakh students with opportunities to study disciplines such as Hydrogeology, Water Resources, and Water Security abroad, encouraging them to contribute to water management and diplomacy efforts upon their return.
The government's commitment to addressing water-related challenges is evident through its engagement with foreign partners. Regular meetings with countries such as China, France, Germany, Turkey, and the United Kingdom demonstrate Kazakhstan's willingness to collaborate on water-related goals and leverage international expertise to improve its water management strategies.
